Balkan Holocaust Remembrance day (Nazi Camp for Jews and Serbs)

Fascist Croatia's leader Ante Pavelic shakes the hand of Adolf Hitler.....After the invasion of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia by the Axis powers on 6 April 1941, the extreme Croat nationalist and fascist Ante Pavelic, who had been in exile in Benito Mussolini's Italy, was appointed Poglavnik (leader) of an Ustaše-led Croatian state – the Independent State of Croatia.....                                                                            The new Independent State of Croatia" was established as a pro-Nazi government. It was dedicated to a  clerical-fascist ideology influenced both by Nazism and extreme Roman Catholic fanaticism. On coming to power, the Ustaša Party dictatorship in Croatia quickly commenced on a systematic policy of racial extermination of all Serbs, Jews and Gypsies living within its borders.Karl Hans Genscher wrote:“ Every office, trolley car, in every bus and restaurant, had a sign saying: NO SERBS, JEWS, GYPSIES AND DOGS !Walter Hagen wrote:“ A truly lethal hatred was directed against Jews and Serbs who were declared „VOGELFREI“. That means that anyone can kill themFrom August 1941 to April 1945, hundreds of thousands of Serbs, Jews, and Romas, as well as anti-fascists of many nationalities, were murdered at the death camp known as Jasenovac. The savagery of the worst religious massacre of the 20th century managed to horrify even the German Nazis and Italian fascists, with severalhigh German officials asking Hitler to remove the vicious ustashe regime.....This is how famous Italian writer Curzio Malaparte described his meeting with Ante Pavelic in his book “Kaputt”: While he spoke (Pavelic, ustashe leader) I gazed at a wicker basket on the Poglavnik’s (Fuhrer’s) desk. The lid was raised. “Are they Dalmatian oysters” I asked Poglavnik. Ante Pavelic said smiling, “ It is a present from my loyal ustashes. Theese are 40 pounds of human eyes”…..The Italians have photographed one ustashe who had a necklace made of tongues and human eyes around the neck.....Jakob Altmeier: “World history remembered many of genocide and mass murderers. However, none of them was that fierce to ask to be served eyes of his victims in wicker baskets. That was the speciality of Pavelic and his ustashe.”Even the Nazi generals were amazed at the horrors of Jasenovac. General von Horstenau, Hitler's representative in Zagreb, wrote in his personal diary for 1942 that the Ustasha camps in the NDH were the epitome of horror...Dr Herman Neubacher, Hitler’s trustee for South-East Europe:”Croatian military campaing of exterminating Orthdox Serbs represents one of fiercest crimes in entire world history”.In 1945, the Ironic  twist of history brings communists lead by Tito (a Croatian Catholic) on power in former Yugoslavia, placing Croatia on the winning side. Tito oreders all death camp facilities to be dismantled and removed, and proclaims a new state ideology of „brotherhood and unity“. The ustashe genocide remains under the veil of silence. The silence continued to this day, for the most of the world…...... http://www.reformation.org/archive.html                                             The Srbosjek ("Serb cutter"), an agricultural knife worn over the hand that was used by the Ustaše for the quick slaughter of inmates.....The Ustashi [Croat Nazis] very often used the most primitive weapons, such as forks, spades, hammers and saws, to torture their victims prior to their execution........ http://www.holocaustresearchproject.org/othercamps/jasenovac.html                                                 A hammer from Jasenovac death camp used by Croats to kill the Serbs,Jews,..... This instrument of killing was used by Croats in all other places across the territory of Independent State of Croatia during the WWII ..... http://brainz.org/10-nazi-war-criminals-brought-justice/                                                                                                         Jasenovac Ustase.....                                                                 JASENOVAC, THE AUSCHWITZ OF THE BALKANS....In the process of {purifying the Croatian nation}, Serbian children were the first to be executed, together with the adults, even if they were still on their mothers's breasts. During the four years between April, 1941 to May 1945, more than 74.316 children were killed in the Ustasha's NDH. The youngest were still in the cradle, while the oldest were about 14 years of age. During the Second World War, the only place where there were special camps for children was Croatia.....                                                       File:Jewish toddlers in Croatia.jpg                                                                                  Ante Pavelic hand-in-hand with Ali Aganovic, right, the envoy of the Bosnian Muslim community of Sarajevo at the opening of the mosque in Zagreb, August, 1944, which Pavelic and the NDH Ustasha regime constructed. ..                                                                                                                              Mosque in Zagreb, August, 1944..... http://www.vakras.com/new-left-and-nazism/pics/al-Husayni-Bosnian-SS.jpg  Hajj Amin al-Husseini, the ex-mufti of Jerusalem, went especially from Berlin to Sarajevo in order to give his blessing to the Bosnian Muslim division named "Handjar" (Sword), which was among the Croatian puppet state's contributions to the German war machine. This division effectively fought on the eastern front against the Soviet Union, incorporated in the ranks of the Wehrmacht..........The Role of the Catholic Church in Yugoslavia's Holocaust During the Second World War in Yugoslavia, Catholic priests and Muslim clerics were willing accomplices in the genocide of the nations Serbian, Jewish and Roma population. From 1941 until 1945, the Nazi-installed regime of Ante Pavelic in Croatia carried out some of the most horrific crimes of the Holocaust (known as the Porajmos by the Roma), killing over 800,000 Yugoslav citizens - 750,000 Serbs, 60,000 Jews and 26,000 Roma  ....Several hundreds of Orthodox priests have been killed.....200,000 Serbs forcibly converted to Catholicism...                                                                             Former President Croatia Franjo Tudjman was a partisan general who fought against fascist Croatia, shot at Croatians, took part in the Bleiburg massacre of the Croatian fascists.....http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/1999/12/tudj-d16.html                                                                                                   Monument in Bleiburg muslims and croats fascists.....                                                                                  NAZI NOSTALGIA IN CROATIA 1991....The genocide against the Serbian people initiated by Ante Pavelic has been continued by the President of present-day Croatia Franjo Tudjman. 500 000 Serbs have been expelled from their ancestral lands since the forcible secession of Croatia from the former SFR of Yugoslavia to the present day. Even at the time of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, the Serbs were represented in the Parliament in Vienna and were recognized as a separate entity, but not in Croatia after Tudjman's accession to power. They are dismissed, evicted, their villages, churches and cemeteries are devastated, all Serbian cultural institutions are abolished as well as their language and script, etc. Today's Croatia has the same symbols as the fascist Independent State of Croatia - the same national flag, coat-of-arms and the same national currency (kuna).Hitler and Pavelic ,Tudjman's role models. Ever since his emergence on the political scene, Franjo Tudjman has sought to portray the Ustasha Independent State of Croatia as any other European State and to equate its leader Pavelic, just as he equated Hitler, with other European leaders of that time. In his book "The Wasteland of History", published by Matica Hrvatska in Zagreb in 1990, Tudjman said that the Holocaust was a natural phenomenon in the history of nations and that there was nothing particular about it. Tudjman admitted that "Hitler was bad", but that "in a sense he was no worse than anybody else".The magazine "Globus" reported that "Mein Kampf" is selling like hotcakes in all segments of Croatian society. On 28 December 1993, a large commemoration of Ante Pavelic, the fascist leader of the clerical and fascist Independent State of Croatia from 1941-1945, was held in Zagreb. "Without him, there would be no present-day Croatian State," was the official explanation.....In 1998, NY Times columnist A.M. Rosenthal wrote: "In World War II, Hitler had no executioners more willing, no ally more passionate, than the fascists of Croatia. They are returning, 50 years later, from what should have been their eternal grave, the defeat of Nazi Germany. The Western Allies who dug that grave with the bodies of their servicemen have the power to stop them, but do not."Indeed, we happily assisted them - even providing Croatia with Serbian weapons to kill Serbs...In 1995, the London Evening Standard's Edward Pearce wrote that "you can understand Croatia best by saying flatly that if there is one place in the world where a statue of Adolph Hitler would be revered, it would be in Zagreb."                                                                                                           1] http://www.juliagorin.com/wordpress/?p=911.........2]http://www.juliagorin.com/wordpress/?p=914
